How it all began…

Tustin Lions Club was chartered by a group of 50 community businessmen in 1948, making it the cities first established service club. Early contributions by the Tustin Lions Club to the betterment of the community centered on local projects, such as the Orange County Heart Association Fund Drive; the initial organizing of all local Little League & Pony League baseball competition; organizing fundraisers for the support of Tustin 4-H & Future Farmer members through livestock sales; providing leadership and financial support toward the building of the Tustin Youth Center; and staging Annual Mother’s Day Breakfasts attended by throngs of residents at Tustin High School as their “Community Reunion”. Or motto and purpose has always been “WE SERVE”.
